How to make sure The Daily Motivator is not blocked in Yahoo
Mail
The most common problem we see with subscribers who use Yahoo e-mail is that they've accidentally clicked the "Spam" button instead of the "Delete" button when trying to delete one of The Daily Motivator messages. This mistake is all too easy to make, since the buttons are located right next to each other on the Yahoo "Inbox" page, as you can see in this screen capture:
If your mouse slips one day when you're trying to delete a message from The Daily Motivator and you unintentionally click the "Spam" button, all future messages from The Daily Motivator will not appear in your Inbox. So, if things are going along just fine and you're getting the messages every day, then suddenly they stop coming, there is a 99.99% chance (based on our previous experience with other Yahoo subscribers) that this is what has happened. If you click the "Spam" button when one of The Daily Motivator e-mail messages is selected, the "From" address on The Daily Motivator message gets automatically added to your Yahoo "Blocked Addresses" list. When an e-mail message is sent to you from one of the addresses on your "Blocked Addresses" list, it is immediately deleted before you ever get the chance to see it. No, it is not put in your "Bulk" folder, so you won't find it there. It is simply deleted. Fortunately, there's an easy way for you to correct the problem. Just remove our address from your "Blocked Addresses" list. Here's how to to that. First, log in to your Yahoo e-mail account. Then, click on the "Options" link in the upper right corner of the Yahoo e-mail screen.
That will take you to the Options page (shown below). On that page, click the link to "Block Addresses".
This will take you to a page that shows your list of Blocked Addresses, as illustrated below. The list is in the "Remove Block" section of the page, and may be quite long. It will be sorted in alphabetical order, so you can scoll through it to find a particular address. Scroll through the list to find our address, which is The first letter is "R" so that's the section of the list you'll need to scroll to -- the Rs. When you find it, click on it and then click the "Remove Block" button.
That should correct the problem, and enable future messages from The Daily Motivator to get through to you. Please note that old messages that have already been deleted will not re-appear after you do this, but new messages sent the next day and thereafter will be directed to your Inbox instead of being treated as spam. |
