Science and art belong to the whole world, and before them vanish the barriers of nationality.

No ordinary moments

This is not an ordinary moment. No moment ever is. No matter how mundane the task or the situation may be, it is overflowing with special possibilities and opportunities for joy. No moment is ordinary because life itself is so inherently and overwhelmingly extraordinary.

Stand up, open your eyes and pay loving attention to what is here and now. Free this moment from the shackles of your worries, your fears, your disappointment and frustration, and begin to see how truly wonderful it can be.

Everything you could ever need or desire has already been delivered to you. It spreads out in all directions as far as the eye can see and as far as the mind can imagine, here and now.

And you have the immensely good fortune of living it, of moving through the richness of life that is all here in this moment. Accept it for all it is, appreciate the beauty, the wonder and the limitless possibilities.

Your life is not way off in some imagined future someday. The fullness of it is here and now, in this moment that is in no way ordinary, ready to be lived.

— Ralph Marston
