It is surprising what a man can do when he has to, and how little most men will do when they don't have to.

What you make it

Even on the most dismal day there is stunning beauty to be found. Even in the most hopeless situation there is the opportunity for greatness.

Life is not merely some arbitrary and random stuff that comes your way. Life is what you make it.

Your circumstances are not someone else’s fault. They are what you have chosen.

Your future is not a foregone conclusion. It is whatever you choose it to be by the way you live right now.

The dark, cold, grey days can be just as delightful as the warm, sunny ones. The later decades of life can be even more rich and fulfilling than your youth.

Wherever you may find yourself, one thing is always certain. Your life is what you choose it to be, so choose the very best.
